Custom wrapped fishing rod wrapped by Jim Hernandez
This started as a 7 ft. blank from seeker and was wrapped with a Chevron Diamond pattern with metallic blue, gold and white on a tan blank. Looks amazing and Jim Hernandez did an amazing job. I will post a video of him wrapping it latter but this video gives an idea of what the pole is all about. It has a Fuji reel seat and in the blank I have a yellow fin decorative rod decal and my name and last initial put onto it. This is a real work of art and I can't wait to test it out next weekend.

This custom rod is built on a Rainshadow RCLB70XL. This is my first attempt at marblizing process using pigment colored rod finish mixes to achieve desired patterns. In this case i tried to create realistic looking flames. Im pretty happy with the results considering this is my firs time trying the technique. Im sure with practice much better flames can be made.
